Decline Push-Up
How to
Bodyweight- 1 Feet on a bench, hands under the shoulders.
- 2 Lower the chest toward the floor, body straight.
- 3 Press back up without sagging the hips.
Tips
- The higher the feet, the more the upper chest and shoulders work.
- Keep the glutes tight so the lower back does not sag.
- When sets get easy, raise the feet higher or wear a weight vest.
Common mistakes
- Hips sagging toward the floor.
- The head dropping first instead of the chest.
- Hands too far forward, which strains the shoulders.
