Nordic Curl
How to
Bodyweight- 1 Kneel with the ankles anchored.
- 2 Lower the torso forward as slowly as possible.
- 3 Pull back up with the hamstrings, assisting with hands if needed.
Tips
- Start with only the lowering half and catch yourself on the hands.
- Keep a straight line from knees to shoulders; do not bend at the hips.
- A pad under the knees makes it much more comfortable.
Common mistakes
- Bending at the hips to shorten the lever.
- Dropping the last half of the way.
- Doing many sets in the first week; the soreness is strong.
