Reverse Lunge
How to
Dumbbell- 1 Stand tall, dumbbells at the sides.
- 2 Step back and lower the back knee toward the floor.
- 3 Push through the front foot to return.
Tips
- Stepping back is easier on the knees than a forward lunge.
- Keep most of the weight on the front foot.
- Alternate legs or do all reps on one side, and log it the same way each time.
Common mistakes
- A step back so short that the front heel lifts.
- Letting the front knee cave in.
- Slamming the back knee into the floor.
