Incline DB Row
How to
Dumbbell- 1 Lie chest-down on an incline bench, dumbbells hanging.
- 2 Row the dumbbells to the ribs, squeezing the shoulder blades.
- 3 Lower slowly to straight arms.
Tips
- Set the bench at about 30° and keep the chest on the pad.
- Pull toward the lower ribs for the lats, higher for the upper back.
- It takes the lower back out of rowing, which suits higher reps.
Common mistakes
- Lifting the chest off the pad.
- Shrugging instead of pulling the elbows back.
- Letting the dumbbells swing.
